JAKUB CERTOWICZ

Jakub Certowicz, achitectural photographer. Born and educated in Warsaw, living in the Karkonosze Mountains. He specialises in architectural photography.  He studied Polish studies and mathematics.  Founder and co-creator of the "Niebo na Betonie" ["Sky on Concrete"] photography blog. The author of photographic series, which were presented during individual and collective exhibitions: Pustosz 2008, Zamieszkałbym w Brzegu 2009, Ponad Dachami Wrocławia 2012, Zachłonność - Warszawa w Budowie 2013, Nowy Świat - Warszawa w Budowie 2015, Inwentarz 2016, Patchwork 2016, Lwów 2016, Tango na 16 metrach kwadratowych2018, Przestrzeń Elementarna 2021, Expo - Landscspes of Leisure 2021. He cooperates on an ongoing basis in photographic documentation and artistic projects with Nowy Teatr, the Museum on the Vistula, Museum of Warsaw and Zachęta - National Gallery of Art. His papers are presented in almost all major European magazines dealing with architecture; also, he documents most of the important projects being created in Poland for the purposes of architectural offices.
