ICHO MIO
Nikodem comes from a family of cabinet makers, and when he’s not designingfurniture for leading Polish manufacturers, he’s also an avid painter. So when asked to revamp his best-selling ICHO chair, he suggested turning it into a time machine of sorts. He weaved a cross-based Danish cord seat and added the cord to the back to make it look like a chair from the Times when everything was simpler, slower and merrier. Such times exist in our heads as an attractive construct: The Ideal Past. Wanna travel there?

Nikodem pochodzi z rodziny stolarzy, a kiedy nie projektuje mebli dla czołowych polskich producentów, jest zapalonym malarzem. Kiedy więc został poproszony o odświeżenie swojego bestsellerowego krzesła ICHO, zaproponował, aby przekształcić je w swoisty wehikuł czasu. Wyplótł siedzisko z duńskiego sznurka i dodał go do oparcia, aby wyglądało jak krzesło z czasów, gdy wszystko było prostsze, wolniejsze i weselsze. Takie czasy istnieją w naszych głowach jako atrakcyjny koncept: Idealna Przeszłość. Chcesz tam pojechać?
